Description:

Climbing vine. Fruits green to red at maturity, white inside. Calyx covered with grey hairs and persists on young fruit. Seeds grey-black with band of white, covered by off-white aril. n.v. Corazon sangriento. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Pine forest vegitation in red clay soil. Growing along freshwater stream. Common.
