Brazil. Bahia. Ilhéus Mun. 10 km south of Ilhéus (Pontal) on road to Olivença, then 3 km west, Fazenda Manquinho.

Description:

Tree, leaves subcoriaceous, dark lustrous green above, paler and pubescent beneath, edges revolute; inflorescences and calyx pale green, petals creamy yellow, stamens white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Disturbed restinga forest. Forest with Attalea funifera (piaçava).
