Description:

Culms erect, 70-80 cm tall; plants at anthesis. Each axis of the inflorescence with one female spikelet at the tip. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.

Habitat:

Bamboo in clumps along edge of a somewhat disturbed forest with jequitibá (Cariniana sp., Lecythidaceae).
