Brazil. Pará. Itaituba Mun. Parque Nacional da Amazônia, near the eastern boundary of the park on the W bank of the Tapajós River, ca, 6.5 km on the river above (S of) the community of Vila Rayol. Alt. 35 m. (115 ft.)

Description:

Tree, ca. 8 m tall, latex white, pedicel, calyx, and base of corolla tube light green, corolla lobes white.

Habitat:

Rocky shore and woodland on sandy soil at border of river.
