Description:

Terrestrial herb, 50 cm tall. Abaxial leaf surface green (note: J.L. Clark # 9371 with red abaxial leaf surface). Calyx green. Corolla bright red; pouched on lower surface of corolla; corolla red with pouched region orange.

Habitat:

Premontane wet forest.
