Description:

Terrestrial herb, 1.5 m tall. Inflorescence axillary, produced from base of plant. Leaves distichous. Bracts whorled. Flowers yellowish-white. Phenology of specimen: flower.

Habitat:

Mature forest near cow pasture. Premontane Wet Forest.
