Brazil. Pará. Santarém Mun. along E side of road to Punta Piedra, about 3.4 km from where the road departs to the NW from the Santarém–Alter do Chão road (PA-457), ca. 21.5 km E and somewhat S of Santarém. Alt. 73m. (239 ft.)

Description:

Vine climbing to ca. 3 m, flowers yellowish green, with shorter pedicels than another Smilax growing close by (1284), fruits green; SILICA COLLECTION.

Habitat:

Shubby savanna on white sand terra firme, with tree islands.
