Description:

Liana, flowering 1-2 m above ground, leaves in canopy, tepals, filaments and styles red, ovary and stigmas light yellow, pollen sacs whitish, staminodes pink, fruits light green with darker green longitudinal stripes and whitih spots.

Habitat:

Mature "terra firme" forest on sandy-clay soils on relatively level terrain by rushing stream, with some wet areas.
