Description:

Cespitose palm. Stipe 1-2 m tall. Petiole 40-50 cm long, rachis 20-30 long. Spines white, flat. Peduncular bract 30 cm long. Peduncle 20 cm long, rachis 10 cm long. 5-6 rachillae, 5-10 cm long. Fruits dark purple.
Habitat:

In water logged marsh.
