Description:

Cespitose palm. Stipe up to 3 m tall, green, internodes clearly visible, 10 cm apart, becoming narrower towards tip. 9/10 leaves / individual. Petiole 40 cm long, rachis 50 cm long. 10/15 pinnae per side. Inflorescence with 15 rachillae, turning orange. Fruit deep green.

Habitat:

On tierra firme, steep slope.
