Description:

Cespitose palm with stem 0-2 m tall. 10-12 leaves per individual. 4 leaflets in general, but a few rare individuals in the population with 6-8 leaflets. Petiole 1,2 m long, leaflet 30-40 cm long. Inflorescence infrafoliar, light green. Fruits light green. Petals light yellow. Flowers with a sweat scent.

Habitat:

On tierra firme.
