Description:

Cespitose palm, stem 10-60 cm long. Petiole 30 cm long, rachis 40 cm long. 23-28 pinnae per side, regularly arranged in one plane. Peduncular bract 7 cm long. No flowers or fruits. Dead inflorescence, 5-6 rachillae.

Habitat:

On argile soil, on small hill on tierra firme. Small population, pretty common in understory over a small area.
