Description:

Understory trailside herb; leaves variegated white-and-green above, wine below; inflorescence bracts green; flowers blue tinged with wine. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Undulating terrain. Disturbed terra firme forest with open canopy, source of disturbance unknown (bamboo die-back ?).
