Used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to measure a straight line starting at the mouth of the river (confluence of Rio Javari and Rio Solimões) to the source of the river (at confluence of Rio Jaquirana and Rio Batã), then halved this distance to approximate the midpoint of the Rio Javari. Used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the midpoint of the river, on the adjacent shore. Input coordinates, linear extent (218237 m.), and measurement error (1 m.) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.
