Description:

liana. Liana 6 m tall; inflorescences pendent, fruits broadly obovoid, pale red tinged with yellow, to 2 cm diam. All tissues with a milky sap. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Salão vegetation: herbs, thin-stemmed lianas and small trees on steep riverbank. Soil very hard and bumpy [concretions].
