Description:

Bushy shrub to 2 m. Leaves coriaceous dark green above paler beneath with yellowish midrib and primary veins. Fruit yellow green, tinged reddish brown. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Campos gerais - shrub and herb-rich grassland with acaulous palms but few trees.
