Description:

Leaves dark green above, purple-tinted beneath; petals yellow above, yellow with brownish tinge beneath on the upper and laterals, dark violet lines on the median, the beard lacking at the base of the laterals. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Juniper woodland with sagebrush and Viola vallicola.
