Description:

Leaves purplish-tinged beneath; petals yellow, the posterior and lateral pair brownish on back, the median with dark lines, the laterals lacking a beard within, the spur brownish. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Sagebrush opening in canyon bottom.
