Description:

Tree to 12m, bark gray, thin, smooth, somewhat flaky. Resin cream-colored, but fruits with copious white "latex." Fruits pendent on arching inflorescences. Fruits orange to red without and within, pseudaril white, covering all of pyrene. Endocarp cartilaginous, cotyledons plano-convex.

Slightly disturbed moist forest.
