Brazil. Roraima. Boa Vista. Boa Vista environs, ca. 3 Km NE of city by Rio Calme, tributary of Rio Branco.

Description:

Tree to ca 4 m, trunk 10 cm or less in diam. (one tree in area to 8 m with trunk 50 cm diam and flaky, fissured, greyish-black dark). Foliage discolorous, bottle green above, whitish-green below. Fruit black, fissured at right angles to sutures.
