Santa Isabel do Rio Negro, Amazonas. Used the Google Maps - Earth View to locate Rio Marauiá, a tributary of Rio Negro. Chose a point along Rio Marauiá nearest to the midpoint of the line; used the Google Maps - What's Here Tool to find the coordinates of the approximate geographic midpoint of the river, on the adjacent shore (collection assumed to be terrestrial). Used the Google Maps – Measure Distance Tool again to find the linear extent by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent the river.
