Description:

Plante arbustive a feuilles simples opposées, anisophyllie. Une grande feuille face a une petite. Renflement myrmecophile a la base du petiole. Petits fruits d'abord ovoides rouge vif. puis spheriques noirs, recouverts d'un duvet eparse comme tout la plante.
