Guyana. Cuyuni-Mazaruni. Pakaraima Mts., Mazaruni River, just above ABC Falls. Trail/track 2.03 miles SW of Base Camp 6 heading E to mining camp site. Alt. 526 m. (1726 ft.)

Description:

Herb. Herb to 50 cm. Leaves dark green above, new leaves and leaf undersides bright purple, glabrous. Stems purple-hued with 4 green wings. Flowers white, becoming pink at corolla apexes; filaments white; anthers pink.
Habitat:

Dicymbe dominant moist forest on white sand. Camp site dominated by weeds, grasses; epiphytes from numerous cut trees.
