Guyana. Potaro-Siparuni. Pakaraima Mts, Tay-Klay-O Creek, upstream - juncture with upper Ireng R. and 2.5 km -small tributary. Alt. 650 m. (2133 ft.)

Description:

Tree. Spindly tree 3 m; fruit immature, globose, 0.2 cm diameter.

Habitat:

Stream bed and streambanks. Locality with Melastomataceae, Malpighiaceae, Burseraceae, Poaceae, and Cyperaceae well represented. Sandstone substrate.
