Description:

Subarbusto tolerante à inundação, com até 1,5m acima do nível da água, no pântano, raízes fixas no fundo. Caule tenro. Fruto lomento com vários artículos, marrom-esverdeado, nos indivíduos já desfolhados; sementes marrons.
