Tree 25 m. tall, 36 cm dbh. Bole cylindrical. Steep rounded buttresses 1 m. tall. Outer bark scaly, soft, peeling dark yellow-brown; inner bark hard, fibrous, medium reddish-brown. Sapwood brilliant yellow. Exudate a white sticky free-flowing l.
