Description:

Tree 30 m. tall, 47 cm. dbh.; buttresses 1-2 m. high; exudate a sticky white latex, with fruity aroma; bark hard, with vertical cracks burgundy to more or less black, 1-2 mm. thick; inner bark soft, 1.4 cm. thick, fibrous-granular, orange to re.
