Description:
8' shrub with glossy saw edged oblong driptipped leaves and axillary spikes of yellow flowers with 5-locular apocarpous superior ovaries, each carpel developing into a separate fruit on the enlarged thalamus which turns crimson whilst fruit remains green. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
