Palm. Stem 12m , 25 cm dbh; cores section shows strong black fibers surrounding a central soft white core; black prickles. Leves 12;6 m long. Pinnae 50-55 per leaf; base 85 cm, middle 110cm, apex 70 cm. Sheath brown,coverd withsmall black prick.
