Description:

White water palm. not seen in black water areas. Stems cespitose, forming clumps near river, 5 m tall, 10 cm diam, with spiny nodes. Leaves 6; 20 cm long; rachis 130 cm long; pinnae 56 per side, slightly clustered, spreading in various planes,.
