Description:

Stems cespitose, with 1 main stem and 2 shoots, the main stem 4.5 m long, covered with persistent leaf sheaths. Leaves 15; petiole 1m long; rachis 4m long; pinnae 120 per side, regularly arranged and in one plane. Inflorescences erect; fruits.
