Description:

Stems cespitose, 1.5 m tall, 2 cm diam. Leaves 8; sheath 20 cm long, fibrous; petiole elongate, 80 cm long, reddish tomentose; rachis 60 cm long; pinnae 6 per side, clustered or solitary and spreadomg om dofferent planes.
