Description:

Stems cespitose, 11.60 m tall, 13.8 cm diam. with spines on the internodes, with a mound of roots at the base 50 cm long; shath and petiole white tomentose abaxially; rachis 3.5 m long. Leaves 16; pinnae 141 per side, slightly clustered, spread.
