Brazil. Maranhão. Lorêto Mun. "Ilha de Balsas" region, between the Rios Balsas and Parnaíba. About 30 km south of Lorêto. Ca. 6 km S of main house of Fazenda São Raimundo. Trail from "Veados" to S. Raimundo. Alt. 250 - 300 m. (820 - 984 ft.)

Description:

Petasl golden yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:
