Description:

Tree, c 2.5 m high, 12 cm diam. Bark rough charred black. Silvery on branches with longitudinal fissures. Slash: Bark very dark blackish red. Outer wood pale straw, inner deep pink. Flowers yellow, scented. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fertile.
Habitat:

Cerrado on laterite hill.
