Brazil. Bahia. Andaraí Mun. 15-20 km from Andaraí, along the road to Itaeté with branches East off the road to Mucugé. Alt. 500 - 600 m. (1640 - 1968 ft.)

Description:

Woody climber to 3 m. Leaves rather thin, bright green, slightly rugose, grey-green beneath. Sepals plae green. Fruit pinkish-red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Secondary very dense mixed forest by small stream on lateritic soils.
