Description:

Stem cespitose, 70 cm tall, 1.5 cm diam. Leaves 8; sheath 12 cm long; petiole 70 cm long, with a few long yellowish spines; rachis 76 cm long; pinnae 17 per side in distinct clusters of 2-4. Infructescence interfoliar, with 2 rachillae.
