Description:

Palm 60 cm. Leaf sheath 14 cm long, fibrous; petiole 62 cm long; rachis 91 cm long, 13 pinnae each side. Inflorescences 3, intrafoliar, the bracts 10 cm long, the peduncle 3 cm long, remainder 8 cm long, the rachis red. Fruits green, maturing red. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest dominated by Guadua bamboo.
