Location:

Brazil. Bahia. On the coast road between Alcobaça and Prado, 10 km NE of Alcobaça and 4 km N along road from the Rio Itanhentinga.

Description:

Tree to 10 m. with white latex. Leaves bright glossy green above, paler beneath, coriaceous. Corolla white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Restinga vegetation on coastal sand with scattered forest with lower trees in more open places. This plant frequent in closed restinga.
