Description:

shrub, to 3 m. Shrub, to 3 m.; stem green with maroon nodes; inflorescence terminal with 12 flowers; flowers pendulous, long, red, odoless. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Riverside, maintained area. Flat, sunny area, moist soil.
