Brazil. Maranhão. Lorêto Mun. "Ilha de Balsas" region, between the Rios Balsas & Parnaíba. About 35 km south of Lorêto. Next to house at "Veados". (About 11 km. W of main house of Faz. Morros.). Alt. 250 - 300 m. (820 - 984 ft.)

Description:

Herb. Fls. 14 mm. from base of keel to top of standard. Standard 7 ½ mm. wide & 6 ½ mm tall, white. Laterals and keel white with pink splotch at base. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Habitat:

Open trail cut through shrubby secondary growth of brook gallery forest. [See label for further habitat description.].
