Description:

Tree to 10 m with fissured gray bark and thick flexible branches. Lvs softly hairy, reddish green. Fls with yellow-green pedicels and calyx. Petals dull red without whitish green within. Stamen filaments white, anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.

Margin of dry forest.
