Description:

Small tree, 4 m. tall. Trunk 6.5 cm. in diam. at breast height. Bark smooth, pinkish-brown, transverse striations encircling trunk. Blaze: wood cream, surrounded by olive brown bark. Petal white with yellow stripe in throat & dark red mottling at each side. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
Habitat:

Growing in dense cerrado.
