Description:

Tree 20 m x 25 cm, outer bark gray, rough, dry and brittle, inner bark pale red, sap watery red, becoming sticky. Flowers sepia.

Habitat:

Terra firme forest without arborescent bamboo and not dominated by lianas. Undulating terrain.
