Description:

Shrub with red fruit. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.

Habitat:

Tree & scrub woodland cerrado. (Trees 8-10 m. tall, mostly "sucupira", with less than 10% cover, 20-30 m. apart; 3-8 m. tall trees 2-7 m. apart; total woody cover over 1 m. tall ca. 50 %; total canopy above 2 m. ca. 10%). [See label for further habitat description.].
