Description:

Tree. Tree 15 m x 20 cm, outer bark brown, shed in thin plates, inner bark fibrous; flowers white, borne on plagiotropic branches. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Terra firme forest on hilly terrain, canopy discontinuous, few palms, some patches of Guadua (arborescent bamboo). Common.
