Description:

Erect herb with spingy stems. Leaves slightly glaucous. Flowers carmine. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.

Habitat:

On lateritic bluff supporting sparse cerrado vegetation, arising from surrounding cerrado and campo.
