Description:

Scandent herb, 70 cm. Upper sepals blue-purple, lower ones tinged with white. Petals blue-purple tinged with white, anthers blue-purple (connective white) Fruits green, obovoid. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
Habitat:

Primary moist forest on terra firme. Quaternary sediments, undulating terrain.
