Beginning at the point along BA-001 closest to the approximate geographic center of the city of Ilhéus (-14.7914908 -39.0330747), used Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps), to measure approximately 50 km (50.0012 km) along BA-001 towards Una. Using Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs, found coordinates for the offset. Using Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) again, found the linear extent of the starting location of the offset, the city of Ilhéus, by measuring from the chosen starting coordinates near the center of the city to the farthest extent of the city. Input coordinates, linear extent (7.43538 km), measurement error (0.0005 km), and distance precision (1 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Calculator to find the uncertainty radius.)
