Description:

Huge epiphyte, stem very short, stout; spathe erect or spreading, 28 x 4 cm, green suffused maroon, terminal 8 cm revolute and caudate; fruiting sx. 45 x 2.5 cm , tepals pale violet; ovaries exserted 3 mm, green, 4-angled, sx nodding; stipe stout, rough. Phenology of specimen: See notes.
